Fort Saskatchewan- Time Magazine features the newest social networking site that lets you map and tell your friends where you are. Foursquare is the newest “Tweeter”, but instead of saying “tweet” you have to say “checking in”. Foursquare background check traces its origin with the late Google Dodgeball whose map features allow friends to locate one another wherever they are.

I'm Canadian, but I have watched the American Election and I just have to express how amazed I am at the outcome. I am so glad that Barak Obama (Democratics=Liberals in Canada) won by A landslide. It's about time that some kind of change is evident in this world. The first african-white american President is a big step for America and hopefully for the rest the world and it's leaders.

I call upon all parents, students and people who care about our Childrens education, to PLEASE make sure to take time out over the next week or so, and thank the teachers, educators, principles, secretary's etc for the OUTSTANDING work they have done over the past year. My daughter attends Fort Elementary and her teachers Mrs Fellows and Mrs AUsten.

City, county talk hwy bypass

A highway bypassing Fort Saskatchewan to the south is on its way and its alignment could be known by spring, the city manager said Monday morning. Fort Saskatchewan and Strathcona County have been in negotiations since December on the alignment of such a route, Dave Dubauskas said. [more]
